3. RISK ENGINEER

We are seeking a Nigerian based Chemical or Mechanical Engineering graduate with an interest in oil & gas to join our Company to further support our provision of risk management services to our clients.  The role will involve conducting surveys of oil and gas production facilities, mainly upstream, power plants, identifying and quantifying areas of risk, drafting reports for clients and insurance professionals, presenting material and providing support to insurance broking colleagues.

Requirements:
*A degree in engineering, preferably chemical or mechanical engineering
*An understanding of power plants, oil & gas production facilities and projects
*An understanding of the risks involved in the exploration, production and processing of oil and gas
*Knowledge of risk engineering methods and techniques and the identification and quantification of risks*
*An ability to write clear technical reports for providing insurance relevant information to clients and to the industry
*The skills and presence to interact with authority with middle and senior technical and operational management in client and underwriter organisations
*Knowledge of risk engineering in the insurance industry with an operating company, loss adjuster or similar.
