Something similar happened to me once when I booked a ride on Taxify/Bolt platform.

Online the car description was a Toyota Camry and the plate number was KSF 5** FD.

Well, the driver called and I confirmed that I had booked the ride. He stated he was 3 minutes away. No problem. I described my building to him and stood waiting outside the gate.

I was surprised when he pulled up in a Ford Explorer! I was like...."what's happening? This is not the car on the platform?"

He apologised and stated that his car started overheating earlier that day and had to be towed to the garage.

So he borrowed his older brother's SUV, to quickly do his Bolt runs, as the brother was out of town.
