Aba is a city located in Abia state, it's residents are usually reffered to as "NwaAba" due to there presumed roughness, street credibility and ability to survive anywer. There is a saying that goes "gentle man no dey for Aba".
As a born and brought up aba boy, I have become used to the very poor and dirty roads littered in aba that our body is now immune to the dirty waters we deep our legs anytime it rains and the gurry sight of dirt littered everywhere that I think is a great skill am looking forward to add to my CV so employers will know the kind of experience and skills I possess.
Many times I have been on public transport with first timers in aba who shouts and take photos when the see bad road and some closing there nose anytime the see refuse dump, I call them tourist and those places tourist sites. Those tourists are easily spotted irrespective of skin colour e.g when Aba tourist see dirty flood water on the road the feel disgusted and start looking for who to carry them, but typical aba man/woman go shapaly remove Im shoe swim water dey go, after all no be today Nyash begin dey for back.
In this thread am going to show you guys some o those popular tourist sites, you should try and visit when next u are in aba

1) Osisioma junction : this is the the major entrance way into aba, this place is special because it houses first flyover in Asia, now mocked as "Aba Centre table" due to the inability of the current administration to continue with the project for some years,osisoma houses many locally construted bridges by abs residents,next time u are in aba, try and visit osisoma junction but plz, don't forget rainboot

Ngwa Road:this is a road that leads to major ngwa road market, home for made in aba designer clothes, shoes, etc. the market attracts customer from within and outside aba,bt ngwa road is a tourist attraction to visit on on ur next trip to aba

port-Harcourt road: port-harcourt road is a fantastic federal road because all the administration in abia since 1999 has claimed it has built ph road but the thing no dey show. which made fmr president olusegun obasanjo to ask the question when asked about the fate of the road "how many port Harcourt road is in aba?". currently the road is still under construction. on your next visit to aba, endeavour to make a stop at ph road.

obohia road/nkwo ngwa: if you haven't heardObohia,you should know nkwo-ngwa, nkwo-ngwa is a popular market in aba known for its production of casket and furnitures of different sizes with its major access road being obohia road. is a good tourist site to behold but I will advice keep ur valuables at home maka umuobohia

ozuomba-igbere road: this road links nkwo-ngwa and eziukwu/cemetry market, it's a cool tourist site, Govt begin it's construction since 2016,this is it's progress so far

Two most are located at the entrance of aba none us really in Aba proper

But this are no excuse ....revenue generated from this market should fix this roads

I thought this 'nwa Aba' has done caulks road? smh.....with all the demolished structures and shouts of OKEZUO ABIA, this man hasn't turned the commercial city of Aba to eldorado.
