Just like yesterday; thousands of people gathered at the Okeigbo Civic Centre to celebrate our new king, Oluoke of Okeigbo and to thank God for the privilege to have a highly cerebral, educated, acceptable and well connected monarch as the new Oluoke of Okeigbo.

Baba's reign on the throne of his fore-father marks the era of a NEW OKEIGBO KINGDOM. Exactly a year ago, 14th of September 2018, His Excellency Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu officially presented the staff of office to His Royal Majesty, Oba Lawrence Oluwole Gbadewole Babajide, (Bamigbala 1), Oluoke and Paramount Ruler of Okeigbo Kingdom.

The Oluoke and His Chiefs-in-Council have approved THURSDAY, 24TH OCTOBER, 2019 for the celebration of the first year anniversary. Programmmes lined up for this unique celebration are as follow:
