Good afternoon!
Hope we are having a nice weekend.
The reading of today circled around the parables of;
The lost sheep,
Lost coin and
The prodigal son.

I know we are all familiar with the story (Luke 15:3-32).

But today the priest highlighted an important point /difference.

He compared the parables to different types of sinners.
*The prodigal son*
He realized his mistake and came back on his own.
This includes those that has fallen from the faith but are/were able to find their way back.
*The lost sheep*
A lost sheep can't locate his way home but is always wondering about searching for someone to lead it home.
A lot of Christians are in this class but they keep falling into the hands of fake prophets, pastorpreneurs etc. But if they can come in contact with the right "shepherd", they would follow home.

*A lost coin
*
A lost coin is comfortable where it is. It infact is not aware that he is lost.
A lot of people are in this class. They have left the faith and are not bothered /concerned. They are comfortable in sin. A lost coin needs a dedicated seeker to find it and bring it home.

The bottom line is that God is always ready to welcome us back. (No matter our class above) .

Let's make conscious effort to get back to our Father's house.
