After a one day protest was planned by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), against the killing of their fellow students by security aides believed to be working for the wife of Ekiti state governor Mrs. Fayemi. The leadership of the group has arrived at the Federal University Oye Ekiti and are ready to begin the protest as planned. The police in Ekiti State has also warned all students to desist from carrying out any protest or demonstration against the wife of the governor on the 16th of September as planned.
