Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo is back to the country after a one-day visit to Harare, Zimbabwe’s capital, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV had reported that Osinbajo was away in Zimbabwe attending the state funeral of the country's former president, Robert Mugabe.

He was received by the country's representatives upon arrival, where he also signed the condolence register of the former President.

Mourner-in-chief.

Buhari makes a prof look like a stupid man. Just see how a prof of law is turned to a pedestrian who was sharing 10k a few months ago in markets and now going to funerals every week

But then again its still better to be a vp (even this type of vp) than to be a common nairaland commentator...so...

Just the way President Shehu Shagari turned Dr Alex Ekwueme to a pedestrian and made him a stupid man between 1979 and 1983. There's always a precedent to all human actions, you know. Even then, what's this your concern about the affairs of the zoo, you being a national of another country? Like you don't have work to do poking your nose into the affairs of our country. Busybody!

Very sad how we have allowed everything in our country to turn upside down.
That is the way of the Fulani Republic of Naijeriya, FRN where cows are more valued than some human beings.

What option does a slave to the cabal of the caliphate have than to do any assignment given to him?
The man haff tired of running around doing the bidding of the incompetent dullar'd who bosses him due to quota shystem.

This is the first time I'd see a Nigerian politician hold his umbrella himself. At least, Kingsley Moghalu can learn from this.

There is something about Osinbajo that endears him to us, and the best decision Buhari made was making him his running mate. You can see the genuineness in his efforts and I am sure if he had been allowed to supervise the security forces, the spate of insecurity would have been curtailed significantly. I hope he is allowed to run in 2023 and Nigerians would unite and vote him in. He has the temperament and has shown balls in taking tough decisions like when he fired the DSS boss.
