I never knew love could be define as lust
All I saw was a heart full of love and a tongue full of sweet promises
I thought I found a replacement for my long lost love
And a repairer for my broken heart
I gave it all and did the right thing
I moved right in and every thing fell apart
He lost it all and changed
My smooth life became so rough
I was so shy to make it known to the world
I thought I could cope and tried so much to
He gave me scars and gave me wounds
And yet I could not speak to any one about it
I thought I was covering my shame
I thought I was being so loyal
I thought I was protecting my marriage
Not until it was declared that my days on earth is being numbered
Oh yes, I knew I was not fine
But I never knew it was that serious
I never knew I was already suffering from an ailment
I suffered for the sake of love
I am dying for the sake of love
Or could I be guilty in any form?
My only offense was falling in love
My only offense was being so loyal
My only offense was being a woman
Only if I had not met the one I married
Only if I had not accepted his proposal
Maybe, I might still be single
And probably would not be counting days by now.......
