At 23, Ford had a foresight to what he wants his future to look like. He started a journey to become the most successful automobile engineer. Ford practically started from nothing. He will go about gathering metal scraps from anywhere they could be found to construct his mobile engine vision. With assistance from a few friends, he was able to complete his prototype called Quadricycle (it’s a vehicle with four wheels, with an engine driving the back wheel).

In his time, many others were working on automobile productions. The competition was ruthless and it was survival of the fittest. Because of the limitations of Ford’s Quadricycle; it was very small and incomplete for large scale production, it became so unpopular. He failed. But his failure was a stepping stone.
