Anger is sometimes tricky. Someone or something gets you boiling in pain, puts you in a very bad mood, makes you want to yell, to say all that you have bottled up in a while, to hit or punch them in the face and at the same time expect you to act all mature and calm.

It is OK that when we get angry we want to show the source of that anger how bad we have been hurt, you really want to put the person in your shoes and let them have a little taste of the pain you feel. It is OK to also want to punish them for crossing the line, that way, they learn not to poke that part of you next time.

What is however not OK is crossing the line just because someone did same to you. It’s never acceptable to use cruel words on someone simply because they have stepped on your nerves. You know a thing or two about someone, he or she told you these in confidence and now they have gotten you angry, so that gives you the right to drive their soul to oblivion by using it against them, that is heartless! Wounds can heal, scars can fade off, anger can be appeased, moods can be soothed but words may never be forgotten. Once you say them, you can’t take them back.

Be it your friend, siblings, mother, father, coworkers, neighbours, boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife or even your children and subjects. Choose your words wisely, watch what you say to them out of anger, you never can tell what damage you are doing to their soul.
