If California (CA) was a country, it would be the 6th largest economy in the world. CA has some of the largest and most popular cities in America, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Jose, Beverly Hills, among many others. It is the home of Hollywood, a US celebrity hub, some of the best universities in the world (CALTECH, UCLA, STANFORD, etc), and the global tech industry However, CA is also one of the reasons why the US is now the least of the developed countries and the best of the developing country. Just look at the level of homelessness in CA alone (photo). People pee and defecate on streets. Factor that to the decline in rural communities, and socio-economic mess in other states like VA, MS and OH, then you will agree that the US is now a shadow of itself and a growing shit-hole. CA reminds me of another place in the world: Lagos.
