The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the last presidential election, Atiku Abubakar has once again been thrown into mourning.

This time, the ex-Vice President was morning the loss of a stalwart of the PDP – Mrs Toyin Ajinde, who was a leader of the women’s wing of the opposition party.

She was days ago reported to have been involved in an auto crash. She went into a coma and finally died on Wednesday night.

Reacting on Sunday Evening, Atiku paid tribute to Mrs Ajinde, saying that her commitment to a better Nigeria was unparalleled.

The ex VP expressed sadness over her demise and asked that her family be comforted and her soul rest in peace.
