Don't accept their apology. Sue the bastards. They don't do due diligence before rushing to print stories. It's their way; print false report first, then retract and apologize later.

He threatened to take them to court for libel, which is the right thing any law abiding citizen should do, if anyone is spreading falsehood about them.

If what they printed was the truth, Vanguard would have simply appear in court and the Judge will acquit them and may even order damages and counsel fees in their favor.

They fold because, they know it was false; freedom of press does not including printing and spreading lies.
