How do you expect a devil at home to turn to a saint abroad?

A bad behavior will always show no matter how you hide it

It doesn't matter how Nigerians behave abroad, if that's how they behave at home.... the apple cannot fall away from the tree, therefore, unless Nigerian start to behave properly AT HOME, we can't expect them to be any different when they go abroad (unless you believe that foreign interactions is more important than our own)

Obeying simple instruction is not in our gene; A pedestrian bridge at Ojota, Lagos was divided in such a way that those coming down the bridge have a rail that divided them from those going up. In most cases when their side is busy you see guys/ladies using the other side.

We are not use to obeying laws

Why do Nigerians call black Americans akata, when they themselves are worse.
After careful consideration, I am convinced there's a low iq issue in Nigeria.
All this nonesense talk about Nigerians being smart is silly.
I am beginning to have a deep seated hatred for that country and the people.
Nigerians deserve the politicians they get along with all the sufferings attached.
I have started claiming Benin as my country..shekena

That's how one hospital in Texas started rejecting Nigerian mothers coming for childbirth. 'Big women' talking to nurses rudely because they came to give birth on America. Nobody told them that American nurses are not hungry and unprofessional like Nigerian nurses. By the time they were all blacklisted their eyes opened.

Yeye people!

You are spot on. The same with leadership, so long as as we do not stand up to the pathetic level of leadership in the country, younger people would go into politics largely for the wrong reason...(to loot)

We have got to recalibrate our altitude in all facets.

Nigeria rotten inside has shifted to intimidate and blackmail Nigerians outside the country. This is new weapon of Hausa/Fulani to weaken the resolve of the Igbos who constitute the greatest number of Nigerians abroad..

Sadly, they care less about bad governance and looting, and they would only go to the street for Xenophobia in SA or when a certain pastor is accused of rape by some yeyebrities OR for some BS show called BBN.

Misplaced priorities.

If I should go to Germany, Paris and London to see what Yorubas have turned them into. Then, I'd go to Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, India, Kenya to see what Igbos have done. It goes both ways. But if you think otherwise, that's your business.

P.S. I'm Igbo.
You just messed up a perfectly good post with bigotry.

Which kind delusion of persecution is this?

Some complaints here are petty and unnecessary

The fellow that did not want to give his ID probably had valid reasons you are blissfully unaware of, for not giving that ID. Just because you decided to be a good little boy and sit on the ground for thw police doesn't mean everybody should do same.

And this one you came here to report all the ethnic groups in Nigeria from the abroad, you, what are the negative traits you have equally exhibited there? It is easy to report others, while parading yourself as an epitome of a law-abiding citizen.

PS: You did not need to pour venom on the Yoruba man.

There's what is called perception and this plays a great role in how Nigerians are viewed outside the country. If a particular set of people commit certain crimes continually in a particular place, then the residents have every right to view these individuals in whatever way they like. Prior to 2006/7, Nigerians could go to Singapore visa free but when there was an increase in drug related crimes perpetrated by Nigerians in Singapore, she stopped the visa free policy and adopted stringent policies towards visa issuance to Nigerians. According to you, Singaporeans are insensible.

Black people are at the bottom of racial groups worldwide (believe it or not) and the last thing to worsen how others see you is to commit crimes or behave brutishly or become loud mouthed. Unlike so-called Nigerian intellectuals who make asinine comparisons to Russians or North Koreans for cyber crimes, I condemn them in its entirety. Why? Nigerians are black people and that's a leverage lost. So because Switzerland has criminals doesn't mean they will be treated like Nigerians. It sounds unfair but that's how the world is and is ridiculous to worsen the situation.

My advice stands: whenever a set of people who behave brutishly and are loud mouthed reside, it's best to disassociate oneself from them irrespective of national or ethnic links. I'm not the one who started the thread neither I'm the one who controls the perception of how Nigerians are viewed in Vietnam, China, Malaysia, or Cambodia. I'm not the one who makes asinine and inane comparisons to other countries' citizens when I know the leverage I have. I'm not immigration officials who set Nigerians at airports from other citizens for further investigation. I'm not the one who doesn't condemn crimes but rather blame unemployment even in the US. I'm not the one who export cult activities to foreign lands. But hey, whenever I see these people, I should associate with them.
it seems you really didn't get my point. Anyway let's agree to disagree.

Well, we are inherently divided. So, nationally, it would be almost impossible to get people in line because everything is partisan.

I say we start locally. Smaller governments.

Regional government would be better for the country...but ofcos, may never happen, since the present status is working for the elists

If you live abroad avoid mixing too much with them. Go once in a while to meetings to eat your pounded yam and leave.

Don't let anyone use your address if you don't really know them that well. No gree collect any item fly or travel with to deliver to anyone, even foodstuff. Except you're buying it yourself

Mixing with Oyinbo will help move you up faster. If anyone commits fraud in same location dem go pack all of una go first b4 u start to sort yaself. It takes strength of character to seperate one from his primary environment....so they can only display wetin naija don teach them. E get good ones, and trust me they stay away from all the trouble
