The Swiss international is set to take charge of the captain's armband for the remainder of the 2019/20 season. Granit Xhaka has been captain of the team on an acting capacity since the beginning of the season but is now to be handed the role on a permanent basis. This was confirmed after his teammates elected him captain in a blind ballot ahead of Aubameyang, Bellerin, Lacazette and Ozil on Thursday...
