This oil politics issue is very funny.It is clear that Igbos host most of Nigeria's oil wealth,but States were created to dislink Igbos from oil.Offshore was further added to increase the oil in littoral states by Obj so that Ondo will be an oil producing state.I cannot accuse any particular group of doing this but fear had always existed amongst non-Igbos that "if these people are not curbed,they might one day take over everything".


As for GEJ,his largest number of true supporters are Igbos.Most Yorubas and Northerners supporting him and denouncing zoning are just doing that to ensure that an Igbo never rules Nigeria.Look at the way Peter Odili was opposed by Ijaw leaders.Peter Odili is the man that should have been the President at the moment but for his Igbo ethnicity.Igbos felt that since he is a South-South man from the LGA that produces the largest oil in Nigeria,a stone could have been used to kill two birds but as usual ethnic hatred came into play.Zoning is the only way an Igbo could have been President.

If not for Obj, the argument about who is Niger Deltan would not exist. Obj took a political action to dilute the agitation from the ND that was only increasing in tempo as the massacres of ND people increased; he simply lumped all oil producing areas together. Again, this brings us to the purpose of the topic, which is that, Nigeria was built for minorities to always be load cariers and have zero say in the country.
Nigeria has a pyramid structure with the northern cabals on top, Igbo and Yoruba at loggerheads (with the SE marginalised), minorities and almajiri's at the very bottom.
