Did you provide any source/reference for yours?

Grease is a lubricant. Lubricant makes motion or movement easier and prevents damages at joints. "More grease to your elbows" being an idiomatic expression, is correct.

"I forgot my phone at home" is correct, if leaving the phone at home happened because I forgot to take the phone while going out. But if I purposely leave the phone at home, I will say "I left my phone at home" instead of "I forgot my phone at home".
