You make it seem like it's a lie simply because the man didn't follow the police procedure for reporting a rape. That is unnecessary rigidity in the face of something nobody can predict the reaction of the victim.

Here is a simple clue: I believe that this story makes NO DAMN SENSE.... as even after all this brouhaha of jail, that man hasn't said a word to incriminate (or get hold of) the people who robbed/raped him. It actually seem like this person simply forgot about this rape AND robbery, just as he tried to forget about it when it "supposedly" happen. It makes NO DAMN SENSE imho.

Btw do you think being locked up for 2 weeks is worst than being raped and robbed?

No matter how much you capitalize, make bold and use your opinion to judge something you haven't seen up close, it will not make sense to you. You can try using your empathy. And if it doesn't exist, then you need to be less judgemental. And if you can't stop being judgy in sensitive matters, then you need to evaluate your humanity.
You used to be sensible in your other posts, but this stance you have on male rape is appalling. Rape isn't logic. When you accept that it will begin to make sense.

You shouldn't be.

It has been this way in Nigeria for years - only that women were almost exclusively the victims. That is beginning to change - or at least the reporting is beginning to change.

In our system, men habitually mock female rape victims with the same old tired excuses ("she was asking for it", "what was she looking for in his house", "why was her skirt knee length instead of ankle length" etc.). When in frustration, someone said men will only begin to take rape seriously when homosexual rape becomes widespread, she was scorned. But we are slowly getting there.

There are settlements, trailer and motor parks, markets etc. in this country where you are finished if you are male and you have car trouble or are lost after dark. . Losing your material possessions such as phones and money will be the least of your problems.

There are cultural or occultic beliefs (yes - in this country) which view homosexual rape as leading to some kind of spiritual transfer (whatever the hell that means ) of the 'luck' or 'destiny' of the victim to the rapist. Yes...in this country.

This is the hell we have created for ourselves and some on here are pretending not to see it.

Yes, I said it years ago that a time would come when men will be getting raped and that by then, the system of taking rape as a joke or funny thing would have made it an acceptable norm. Today it is beginning to happen. Hopefully men get a taste of how evil minded rapists are and to see that it is not the woman's fault that a Rapist rapes but rather it is an in driven instinct. When they look into the eyes of their assaulters, listen to the jeers and mockery, see how they derive joy in debasing them, they wi come to see that it wasn't just an accident or stirred by the fact that blue films are available online. But a wicked wicked heart fulfilling it's desire. I know I push the envelope with sexual crimes but then, someone has to hammer it in. I detest that crime esp when kids are involved or a victim not married to the Rapist is involved.
