I think this visit in wrongly timed or unnecessary. Should have been after South Africa has met certain conditions. The south African president would have visited Nigeria first to strengthen ties with Nigeria and show regard for the lives of Nigerians cut short from the savagery of the SA people. He sent representatives to Abuja after the attacks and now he is not at the airport to receive Buhari, what a shame to Nigeria.

Made a good point. He is being cautious to his supporters but disrespectful to Nigeria. I am sure he knows what to expect from Buhari.

It is a confirmation that those thugs have implicit support to attack other Africans in order to divert attention from their miserable failure since they got Power.

This issue is delicate hence complex, its way far between the two countries. Thats ripple effect of brexit"international politics thwarting local politics " ,1. The sa President has to be careful not to hurt the emotions of his people and his political career too,2. and few more factors
Note, buhari is far! more experienced compared to his host and greatly has been furnished with detailed information from Nigeria embassy, onyema, abike etc
