Why Do Nigerian Barbers Do This? by Hintona(f): 7:12pm On Oct 03, 2019
I escorted a friend to go barb her hair and the barber said she should bring her oga or father before he cuts her hair, we asked him why and he didn't answer. I don't know why and this is the first time i'm experiencing this, the man's bull headedness and unwillingness to answer my question was so annoying, my friend had to cut her hair at home before going to finish it in the barbing salon.

My question is "why did he ask her to bring her oga or father?"

'Why do Nigerian barbers do this' is the title of ur post, suggesting it is something u have experienced many times(judging by the title), but at the same time u contradicted ursef by telling us that it was ur first time of experiencing such.

I Dont Know The Tribe That Barbar Come From. It Is Common In Igbo Culture Especially My Humble Orlu Local Goverment Area. Married Women Doesnt Cut (Barb) Their Hair Unless The Husbands Authorised It By Putting Sissors On Her Heads Signifying His Consent. Hair Is The Beauty Of Women And It Is Believed That Only Widows That Has Right To Barb Her Hair Without The Consent Of Anybody.
