Nigerians do not like "reasoning", they actually have a very noticeable dislike for it which is quite visible.

It's almost as if it's a kind of allergy to logical things, a pronounced fear of logic which is baffling to an observer.

As Africans/Nigerians, perhaps we do better with appeals to emotion rather than appeals to logic.

We rate spiritual contexts much higher than we do analytical ones.

Obviously, this is no news, I think it's ingrained.

Not ingrained. We are culturally programmed from an early age and this is reinforced daily by society.
