I am sure that the trap was set based on the bad reputation of the lecturers that were tested. It was an extensive study, and it didn't seem like there was any randomization. The investigators simply set traps for lecturers with bad reputation. In the case of Boniface, it appears like he is indeed notorious for sexually harassing students.

This is not a case of a student seducing her lecturer. This is a case of a lecturer abusing his position.
