Chief Ayo Adebanjo has draw the attention of the federal government of Nigeria to note that the igbos dominating the southern Parts of Nigeria will not rest until they are given presidency at the platter of gold.

The Yoruba chief which is the leader of the Afenifere group has advocated for the liberation of the igbos from Nigeria.

He also said that the president of Nigeria in the person of His Excellency Muhammad Buhari does not have Nigeria in mind neither does he care for the unity if Nigeria

Stating his reasons for saying that, Muhammad Buhari doesn't have the unity of Nigeria in mind, He said that the president didn't address the issue of restructuring of Nigeria during the October 1st independence day.

However, Chief Ayo quoted in his speech that the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria needs to be amended as it has given the president so much power.

@bolded, Is that not why the Northern and Southern protectorates were amalgamated? Obviously they cannot survive on their own so why running around in circles?

If you are going to regroup ethnic groups into states remember the Yoruba and Hausa ethnic group territories extend beyond our International boundaries. The colonial masters mapped out their colonies without regard to the ethnic group living in the region, a method of divide and conquer which made administration of the colonies easy for them (and difficult for the resident ethnicities). We took a leaf from them when we created Rivers and Cross rivers state to spite Biafra/Igbos. It made the country easy to manage for Nigeria, difficult for the Igbos/Biafrans.

There is nothing great an Igbo presidency would achieve if given the chance from this week for the next 8 years. Although they've made significant progress as an ethnic group since the civil war, they have much work to do.

Only enemies of nationa unity, peace and justice are against an Eastern presidency. They are the one fuelling IPOB with their illogical hate and wickedness.

If DSS is really serious about protecting National unity, they should arresting these divisive element who keep making anti-Eastern presidency statements.

Ohaneze and other Eastern group should write a petition to that effect.
You cannot claim you want peace and unity yet insult a major tribe of more than 60 million people, inflamming passions and heating up the polity with your anti-East sentiments.

Anybody who talks against Eastern presidency should be considered the real enemy of the country and should be arrested promptly and locked for inciting the public.

Only the military can give you guys Biafra, like they did last time...just so you know the Nigerian Armed forces does not recruit as much Igbos when compared to other ethnic groups. This is one of the many steps taken to forestall any uprising of Biafra in many lifetimes. I feel I am talking too much so let me stop here right now!
