Often, when moviez is overhyped, they culminate tha fuck_ into a thugged-out dumpsta fire. Joker is one of tha few times I truly appreciated tha hype. This film is DARK. With masterful directing, awe-inspirin actin from Phoenix, solid OST n' cinematography, tha deal is crafted up in ways ta cook up a thug feel dirty, n' straight-up uncomfortable. I know I was. It aint nuthin but hard ta peep at times, straight-up cringey yo, but all so mesmerizing, dat you'd be hard pressed ta blink an eye. In short, itz a bangin rollercoasta up in dat itz straight-up emotive n' dynamic.

Overall, itz a masterpiece, n' one of tha dopest moviez of tha year fo sure. It aint nuthin but a astonishin rap dat calls for more... a sequel, like? I gots a gangbangin' feelin we aint peeped tha last of Phoenixz Joker, we may straight-up well see him up in one of tha freshly smoked up Batman films... I can but dream!

Toy Story 4


Once again, Pixar done cooked up a thugged-out damn phat film. I loved how tha film dealt wit Woody movin on from bein one of mah thugss toy n' parted ways wit Buzz n' the other toys. Well shiiiit, it made tha film blingin n' not just a part of tha franchise. Bo was phat. I was Hot bout Gabby Gabby straight-up much, like a muthafucka. Da soundtrack was dunkadelic n' pretty fitting. Da freshly smoked up charactas was dunkadelic n' had some pimped out lines. Da film was top notch on a technical level. Da scene where Woody say peace out is mah favorite part of tha film n' one of tha few times I gots a lil' bit of teary-eyed by a film.

Overall, I be thinkin it was a straight-up fittin endin fo' Woody.

IT: Chapta Two .


Visual spectacle yo, but lackin like a lil' bit storywise. Da longish meanderin deal felt marginally off. Damn thang didn't flow or have any particular rhythm ta dat shit. Blows bangin' one moment, n' tha next cold, albeit tha thugged out 3rd act had a shitload of da most ingenuous scenes. Mo' blinginly, tha principal theme (horror) must have gots lost in the trainwreck of first n' second act, fo' I shit as a muthafucka wasn't crept up by tha a shitload of jumb scares. That being said, tha hustlas had chemistry n' delivered, esp James McAvoy yo. Dude was headz n' shoulder above everyone in dis film. Da scene where tha pimpin' muthafucka tried ta convince Pennywise ta take his ass was a actin masterclass... it felt real. Second dopest was Bill Skaargard. Dude was solid, despite Pennywise not gettin enough screentime.

Overall, I be satisfied wit tha ending, albeit not thrilled wit tha plot, up in dat it aint as phat as tha first. Anyhoo, itz a thugged-out decent conclusion mo' or less.

Alita: Battle Angel



I felt like I was watchin Avatar at times, yup, tha visuals was dat good. Da script is typical Jame Cameron; cliche, serviceable n' decent characterization. Da worldbuildin be amazing. Da action is bonkers. Where tha basic n' predictable story fails, tha visuals n' action sequences make up fo' dat shit. It aint nuthin but straight-up a straight-up stylish film n' a worthy adaptation of tha manga source material.

Overall, it suffered from tha uneven pacin n' soundtracks yo, but tha visual storytellin was overwhelming, n' ultimately wins over a problematic script.

John Wick: Chapta 3 - Parabellum



Okay, just had a funky-ass blast watchin arguably tha dopest action film of tha year (so far). Well shiiiit, it has itz ups n' downs ofc. I be bout ta start wit tha ups first.

Da Good: When it comes ta uninterrupted fight scenes, dis chapta is tha dopest of tha pack. No shaky cameras, no millionz of cuts per second. Only pure entertainin fighting. I mean, I witnessed John Wick execute kills wit a friggin book, a axe, horses, n' knifes fo' crying out loud! Don't even git me started on dat scene wit tha dawgs... My fuckin goodness muthafucka! Explainin it here won't do it justice. Yo ass gotta peep dat shit. _Fuckin phat.

Da Bad: Da plot line is kinda weak tho. There is a shitload of discrepancies, like how tha _fuck could John take a shitload of damage like da ruffneck did, n' somehow strutted it off wit nary a scratch? Thatz some thick plot armour shiznit right there. Da worldbuildin aspect be also straight-up underwhelming. Da deal ended up where it started; John alone, n' against tha high table, n' tha fact dat they still want his ass dead as fuckin fried chicken.

Overall, dis film was every last muthafuckin thang dat shiznit was tryin ta be, n' served up in spades yo, but itz also tha weakest of tha three cuz tha deal went nowhere n' only brought our asses full circle ta where we started. If there is one real positive ta be had here, itz tha fact dat there is ghon be a cold-ass lil chapta 4.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood


This was probably QTz strangest flick. It aint nuthin but definitely a atmospheric film rather than a plot driven one. Well shiiiit, it immerse you up in itz absurdist version of 60s hollywood. We all know QT like weird deal structures wit seemingly disconnected scenes yo, but dis was da most thugged-out disconnected of dem all fo' realz. A phat 85% of tha scenes up in there has not a god damn thang ta do wit tha main plot fo' realz. All tha scenes individually is solid tho. Da charactas is pimped out, tha actin be amazing. Da art of it is straight-up dope mehn.

Overall, itz one of QT weaker films yo, but an enjoyable experience nonetheless.

I straight-up gots nuff props fo'this movie. Watched it twice, back ta back, theatrical release n' directorz cut. To me, itz a movie bout empathy, loss, n' findin a real support network. I enjoyed tha segment up in which tha coffin dodgin' thugz capped theyselves. Dani'z buildin anxiety battle turnin tha fuck_ into detachment was a realistic depiction of one way our domes process n' deal wit dat sort of thang. No one can straight-up be prepared fo' that shit. This film hit me wackly nuff muthafuckin times. I loved dis film up in nuff ways, but I also had some problems wit what they didnt show as I felt I needed ta be rewarded mo' fo' time spent.

Overall, dis film was def as hell, Ari Asta be a generational talent, Florence Pughs performance was incredible n' Jack Reynors performance was dunkadelic.

I enjoyed Parasite a blingin' fair amount yo, but personally, I be thinkin dat shit didn't quite nail what it was tryin get across up in tha end yo. That bein holla'd, dat shit was straight-up entertaining. I loved tha straight-up original 2/3 of tha flick. Seein tha lies spill up as tha crew wormed its way into tha other was eerie n' funny all up in tha same time. There was some tense moments n' tha basement twist was not expected, at all.

Overall, I be thinkin afta tha heavy storm felt a lil flat. I was expectin one of tha lil niggaz ta peep through tha lies n' call dem up but it didn't seem ta come. Either way, dat shiznit was straight-up good.

The Art of Self-Defense



Positives: Jesse Eisenberg n' Alessandro Nivola is slick up in all dis bullshit. I loved tha steez of tha flick. I loved tha way it uses color. Well shit, it also matches mah sense of humor nearly perfectly. I almost lost it at every last muthafuckin thang tha glock store balla holla'd, Sensei'z lesson bout masculinity, n' when Casey pulled the gun all up in tha end yo. Everythang from Caseyz "I be goin ta bust a cap up in you" speech ta tha end was perfect.

Negatives: These is all pretty minor n' didn't straight-up effect how I enjoyed tha film. First, I thought it
was pretty telegraphed. I assumed dat tha karate school was behind tha muggin pretty much from tha last time Casey went up in there, n' while tha specifics gots me ,I wasn't surprised by his ass rockin tha glock up in tha final confrontation. And second, I thought it could have used one notch higher on tha brutality, though admittedly that's the horror/violent action film hustla up in me jawin.

Overall, I straight-up doubt dis is goin ta git any awardz recognition all up in tha end of the year yo, but it would be all over mah hypothetical awardz ballot fo' sure. Itz a scintillatin satire bout martial arts dat covers tha themez of toxic masculinity, self-confidence n' shit.

Scary Stories to Tell in The Dark


Da problems I had wit tha film was wit tha pacin n' tha dialogue. Da flick takes forever ta set up tha deal of tha film n' tha dialogue was bottom line cringey. I found mah black ass either chucklin or rollin mah eyes as ta how tha fuck_ shitty tha script was. It’s like if they threw up in every last muthafuckin possible "teen flick" cliche possible.

Overall, it was... aiiight? Da visuals was phat yo, but tha actin n' writing, not all muthafuckin day. Even wit tha original monsters, it felt somehow by tha numbers. It aint nuthin but competently made yo, but not much more.
