It has become a mere ceremonial activity. Since the implementation is never seen in the lives of the citizens none in the improvement of the country. The budget should just be allocated to the politicians as always & save the citizens who may be hoping anything positive from the outcome.

Always announcing new budget without accounting for how the previous one was implemented. They are all polithiefians. Buhari should first account for the one billion naira budgeted for his transport. How much did he eventually spend. Or can't they have change remaining to carry forward.

A budget that is bound to fail like very another budget before it. Look at a large chunk of our budget going to recurrent expenditure. Let ask, how many people are working in civil service both in the federal and state governments to warrant such huge allocations
At times, I would wish Peter Obi was the president. I trust to do the right thing. But tribalism and ethic jingoist would never let that happen. We'll forever be a shit-hole nation, it's evident.

As far as i am concerned, they just rolled over 2019 budget to 2020 because nothing was implemented from the 2019 budget.

This is how it should be done in a saner clime...its been arguably said that budget passage implementation in a military era is quicker and easier to achieve than in a democratic dispensation .. Regrettably , the 8th Assembly (through it leadership) brought setback to the 1st term of the Buhari led administration and it seem this 9th Assembly is poised to make a difference

There is absolutely no way the federal government can make 5 trillion naira in a year ...why budget 10 trn ...it makes no sense to me

Every month we see it here federal , state n LGA share 700bn ...600bn 750bn at max ...which federal government gets approximately 1.1to 1.3 billion dollars monthly ....thats max of 350bn ...thats 4.2 trillion max ...so y budget 10 trillion
