This topic was coined from one of the Shakespeare book I read while in primary school.
The murder of sleep connote the wasting of time and chances of life as a youth.
I want to emphasize the things we must do away with as a youth in order to avoid regrets in our old age.


(1)Procrastination

Procrastination is the thief of time so goes the saying. You can't go far in life when you procrastinate.
We humans sometimes forget that we are not in the control of time and seasons of life.
Much reason we should have a deep sense of urgency in our self,time and resources management.
A procrastinator would have a bad ending in life full of ' had I know' and heart regrets.


(2)Habitual Lateness

In this part of the world,lateness is never a big deal.
I still do not know the origin of the word 'African time'
Does the world uses another time apart from Africa?
Could our habitual lateness stems from lack of vision,energy and dreams.
Any human who does not value time management would achieve half of what he was expected to do.
The creator has given all and sundry basic allocation of time and resources.
We are meant to build our capacity to perform creditably well in life with the time management.
An habitual latecomer would have an old age full of regrets.


(3)Laziness
Laziness is the act of underutilization of time and resources available at a given time.
This act makes you completely incapacitated to be a high flyer in life.
Laziness reduces your productivity in life and brings poverty right to your doorstep.
Laziness could be controlled by been proactive in life.


(4)Poor Management of resources

Life is all about management. There would be no point in ones lifetime that management would not be required.
Resources are scares and must ensure judicious use of all the available resources at all given time.


(5)Undefined Life(goals,objectives, purposes)

Purpose is the very act an object (animate/inanimate) was specifically designed for.
An undefined life is a tragedy waiting to happen.
Do you think we just came to this planet to merry go round?
Does the creator of the universe has any plans for the human populace?
To avoid regrets at old age,you must discover your purpose.
Purpose could be discovered by your assessment of your gifts,talents,skills and passion.
What are those things you love do with ease?
Life is too short to be wasted,because when purpose is not known,abuse is inevitable.
A purposeless life is a life without direction.
When you don't know where you are going in life,everywhere you get to would look like it.
