Information Parrot Nigeria A former deputy governor of Bayelsa State, Rt.Hon.Peremobowei Ebebi has resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party in Bayelsa State. His resignation was contained in a letter he personally signed dated 11th October 2019. The former two term speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly blamed his resignation on lack of internal democracy in the PDP. Information Parrot Nigeria recalls that many chieftains of the PDP have been aggrieved and angry with the state governor, Seriake Dickson over his high-handedness and imposition of Senator Douye Diri on the party as its Governorship Candidate. He is a former Ag. Gov sef. This Dickson sef. Dickson is from Sagbama, you have been a Senator then Gov whilst impose someone again from your LGA as deputy. At least pick someone from Ekeremor, the other LGA in Bayelsa West. That is Ebebi's angst and it is justified. Thing is, he is no friends with Sylva but this is politics. Unfortunately, it's Bayelsa where PDP can do as they like, and still have the clear chance to win. |
