Khaleell001:In Ogun state There are egba yewa ijebu remo where osinbajo is from Then the aworis in small number, most of the land of awori people has been bought by churches anyway Now to business Egba are largely Christians, maybe 67-33% Yewa are largely Christians again Ijebu has rich Islamic culture but most of their billionaires and well known people are Christians The ojude oba of ijebu ode is largely funded by ijebu Christians Even the awujale of ijebu land, them no born am to try rubbish with ijebu Christians Now, ijebu igbo is largely Christian Islam in ijebu land is sleeping, whenever I see ijebu Muslims especially their women, u can never know they are Muslims Only by their names, ijebu people are too rich to be bothered by religion, trust me,I know what im saying Now remo land, they are largely Christians Ikorodu has more indigenous Muslims and traditionalist than Christians But the traditionalist control everything in ikorodu But the outlook of ikorodu now is christian Now the awori,Ota is their headquarters I don't think I have to tell u about what's going on in Oga Billionaires Christians and churches and business men have buy so much land See,don't look at a state because of their previous histories Muslims in yoruba land are largely successful because of politics The most urban and exquisite areas in ibadan is dominated by Christians U can't argue that In ibadan now Only idi arere oke ado and all those ghetto looking places in ibadab that original ibadan inhabitants dominate U should know in Ibadan, the ratio of non-ibadan yorubas to ibadan yorubas is very high Go to bodija akobo apata odo ona alalubosa toll gate Iwo road agodi oritamefa dominated by baptist church Omi is dominated by Muslims, oke ayo challenge mobi ring road ososami and so many places are dominated by non-ibadan indigenes If u go to any school in Ibadan, tell all the students to tell u their state of origin U will likely hear osun ekiti and Ogun Those are the three that dominate ibadan metropolis most The places dominated by real Ibadan indigenes like oke mapo and some ghetto areas have the largest muslims population The outskirts of ibadan also has many estates dominated by Christians See ibadan is a very complex place, just forget it U have the ibarapa the ogbomoso that have large indigenous Christians In Oyo state I can beat my chest that only iseyin igboho one Ogun side have the largest Muslim populations But ibadan is already too diluted Ogbomoso has large Christians Ibarapa also So even oyo u can see for yourself now But the Ibadan indigene are Muslims but ibadan has been largeeeelyyy diluted In osun state Iwo ede is like a large village Most of the big businesses in iwo and ede are controlled by Christians, especially private schools university hospitals shops and so on U can go ask In ife Ilesha, high Christian population are competing with Oshogbo in development Do u know at one time, Ilesha had more population than oshogbo the capital Ondo ekiti,u already know this one In kwara Ilorin offa share has the largest Muslims population But go to some areas in Ilorin now Even the most well known alumni of unilorin are Christians Go to wikipedia and find out Why do u think any good news from abroad on nairaland about yorubas are most of the time from yoruba Christians? In education, Yoruba Muslims don't come close to their Christian counterpart Note I'm an atheist I'm only saying about my research 1 Like |

fairfora:You have cleared the little doubt i had about your writeup, though i would have loved a united Nigeria but i don't see that happening any time soon, that's why i also support secession. our ethnic and religion differences is stronger than what binds us together but some people especially at the top will disagree with my ascertion because of what they gain from the failed union. i was born in Edo, got all my education in the east, served in katsina, presently work and lives in Abuja. I have never been to any southwest state apart from going to Murtala Mohammed Airport in Lagos to welcome my inlaw home, thats why i value this your information so much. |

plantist:sat and Sunday is for everyone, or do Muslims go to work on sat and sun? the colonial masters made it so, it has nothing to do with Nigerian Christians |

murphyibiam15: It has a lot to do with Nigerian Christians. Watch how you will all go berserk if Friday is declared a no-work day and Sunday is included in the work days. Well if you don't know, those colonial "slaves" chose Sundays and Saturdays as work free days because of the unfounded Bible teaching that god of the Christians had a rest on the 6th and 7th days of creation of the earth. |

plantist:see, as long as Nigeria was colonized by the British it would remain so, .. Friday is a working day and will continue to remain so, Muslim faithfuls can be giving time on that Friday alone and not daily going to pray from work or you also want Monday to Friday to be declared public holiday for you so you can pray? do you also think Christians don't pray daily? what do you think will happen if Christians also go to pray by 12 daily , think about it..your religion needs some tolerance |
