You can put it as employment in personal history. You do not need any kind of reference or letter for jobs/businesses in personal history.

pointmarshal:
Hello house,

While waiting for the response from my previous question, I wanted to ask about NYSC. I did not have to list it as part of my work experience since I have more than 5 years work experience post NYSC. However, I want to know if I should list this in my personal history? If yes, what type of activity should it be listed as?

Currently, I have recorded my NYSC period as unemployed because I am not sure I will be able to get a reference letter from my PPA. Is this ok?

Thanks

I got an email stating they have logistic issues so the print out won't be ready till 6th January.
However, the same email states that we can still check results starting from today 27th December. I'm still hopeful Sha. I'll keep refreshing.

Congratulations on achieving this feat. Thank you for sharing your story. You score 8/10. Go forth and prosper in our new home.

By the way @bolded must be a typo, 14th December was a Saturday.

PPR MAIL
The day I saw the mail, something kept telling me, check you mail, check your mail and I didn’t until I wanted to do some work and bam it was there, sitting pretty since the 13th.

I submitted my passport on the 14th. They were faster this time even though the network was down. I submitted my PPR mail, height chart, passport photograph with the photo studio’s stamp and date, documents that was given to me after my biometrics, passport and N8200.

Yes. Just get a confirmation letter from your financial institution saying funds can be liquidated at will.

Thank you so much! However, treasury bill is usually fixed for a minimum of one year and cannot be liquidated at will until the expiration...unlike fixed deposit that can be fixed and defixed quarterly...can the confirmation letter still work?

Tbills are NOT usually for 1 yr ( that's also the max tenor not the min). The most "popular" tenors are 91, 182 and 364 days but when purcahsed in the secondary market can be for even shorter tenors e.g. 30 days.

And they CAN be pre-liquidated i.e. sold back to the bank for cash, before the original maturity date.

A confirmation letter of the tbill investment from the bank works.

Thanks. The letter carries Npower Volunteer Corps, and even the payment is called a stipend so i thought it is.
rahman137:
Yes it will, By the way N-Power is not a volunteer experience, it is a proper job.

Hello @Julius10!

You need to rewrite IELTS and score at least L,R,S,W - 8,7,7,7.

The 384 is accurate with your current IELTS score and profile.

You wrongly put your 2 years of work experience under CANADIAN WORK EXPERIENCE (... how many years of skilled work experience in Canada do you have) instead of under TOTAL YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE (... how many total years of skilled work experience do you have). That is what gave you 449.

Sadly, with the right IELTS scores (8,7,7,7) alone, your CRS score will still be 437. So you have to be patient until you have the magic 3 years of work experience, which will shoot your score up to 462. Hopefully, this will be sufficient at the time you get your 3rd year of work experience (as it is NOT presently - based on the recent ITA cut offs being above 470).

You can also start learning French while you wait to further boost your score (easier said than done by some people, as I couldn't).

Try to go through Page 1 and understand the process and requirements better. That way you will know how best to set your targets and achieve them.

I wish you the best.

Hi good people, my IELTS result just came out and it's not a good one. Got LRSW 6.5,7,7,6.5 (1st attempt). I am planning to rewrite and wondering if it's better to use MOD as against British dt I used. Also, can I use the result for any province and which one. I am a database admin with 6 years experience. I have masters likewise my spouse which I plan to go with and my 2 kids.
Pls, I need advice......

Good evening house, please I need your help in choosing the right NOC please. sad

I currently lead the development and implementation of corporate responsibility and sustainability (CR&S) initiatives which is majorly targeted towards enhancing livelihood and prosperity of farmers, thriving communities and net positive environmental impact, across our Cashew business countrywide (which could involve sourcing for partners to support and provide resources )

I also manage all aspects of the project to digitize farmer data across the supply chain.

I use skills and tools available to me to engage with my team in operations management and culture development capacities. I coordinate a multidisciplinary team of 10 persons in all procurement, warehousing and primary processing activities such as inventory management, quality control, documentation, procurement and payment.

My direct involvements include:
- Developing standard operating procedure for receiving produce at warehouse
- Integrating a safety culture to reduce risk of accident.
- Leading the implementation of effective supply chain planning systems while improving S&OP processes for distribution network.
- Building supplier relationships to mitigate risk and drive key performance indicators and continuous improvements throughout logistics and supplier operations.
