@Kiari,
please I am just curios about the bolded statement. Are you sure anyone has really used a WES evaluated BSc combined with a college certificate (one semester) as two or more certificates and it was acknowledged as such and gotten PPR based on this?

kiari:

What do you mean by not consistent? You can go ahead and use them, the outcome is (college certificate One semester), which people have used and got ppr.

Hello everyone,
Please I want to know if Neco verification and scratch is required for Wes evaluation. If yes can the verification be done in Lagos or Minna.

This NECO/WAEC question has been answered on every page of this thread since WES removed it from their requirements grin

CIMA. Noun has several cases of delays.
BCS is written twice in a year (March and September or so, and you cant meet March anymore i think)

Cima is all year round.

Okay Thank you...

I honestly don't know but just go to any Magistrate/High Court around there. Or perhaps ask where you could see those people doing affidavit (they are also found in front of Post Offices as well)

Go to SO Petrol station at Rumuodara along East/West road before Omega House if you are coming from Eliozu. Notary Public firm is there.

Thanks for your response. Lol @ "please don't say Atlanta". I heard TERRIBLE stories about Atlanta embassy, so NO. I am looking at New York because I believe that is the only Nigerian embassy here with the option of expediting. Glad to know someone at least knows about the Montreal VO. Do you by chance know if there is a Post AOR group for the Montreal VO?

Try DC, you get an capturing invite within 7 - 10 days of application, and processing takes about 2 months (not sure of expediting the process though, i hear some people get theirs in 2 weeks after capture, but i am not sure). Did my capturing in December, scheduled for pick up in February. I heard NY takes months before they invite you for capturing (someone got like 7 months).

It actually depends on your circumstance. Without your fiancee, what's your score? If it's high enough for you to get ITA, hold on, after submission of your application. Then get married and inform IRCC. You will need POF for two.

If your score isn't high, you can get married and your wife adds her points from educational qualifications and IELTS score.

If she's younger with same qualifications as you or higher, she'd be the primary applicant. She can either apply first and add you after marriage or you both apply together. Hope you understand.

I'm in my late 20s and she's early 20s, she only got ND with few years work experience.

I feel like going to hustle first before bringing anyone along, don't know which is better, going single or married based on information provided.

Thanks for reciprocating.

Thank you for showing your interest in the upcoming British Computer Society ("BCS"wink Training hosted by Tech-Ops Nigeria and welcome to the community!

Let's get right to it.

The British Computer Society (also called the Chartered Institute for IT) is a UK based certification body offering a plethora of IT Certifications.
Our focus, however, is the Certificate in IT......................

......................... in July 2020. Transcript processing (BCS to WES) begins immediately after results are released and; from our personal experience, the process is fast and seamless.

Doesn't matter. You can still do it together, you take the lead and have your family follow later

I'll say there's no easy answer to this.

If you go as a single, you'll need to prove that you can sponsor a family member, you'll need a good job first (which can either be immediately or take 6 months+), then waiting period for spousal sponsorship application is another.

Going single is a cheaper option, both in application, POF, ticket and living in Canada, however, it may take time for your wife to join you.

Going as a married person can be advantageous, if your wife also knows how to "hustle". Once both of you are here, you're as good as settled if both can "hustle" and live modestly, also if you have birth control in place, else it'll be a lot of stress for you, if your wife gets pregnant and she's not working.

There are government support options but that's another topic entirely.

Cheers.

how old are you? Is your spouse coming with you?

You need to tell us your age so that we can know where the problem lies. Over 30 can be 31 or 39. Your particular age would be helpful

Hi guys,

I find it difficult to trace the thread for WES.

My question:

I just paid for WES today. My colleague said I need to scan a copy of my masters certificate to a friend's mail whose address I used in Canada to help print n post to WES address in Canada while waiting for my school to send transcript.

Is this the process?. Kindly help with the clarification.

Thanks.

Thanks alot.. Let me work on getting my wes verification & ielts ready. This uphill battle is discouraging but knowing that people that gets to Canada don't have 5 heads, is the motivating aspect. I need to be in system of government that works.

God bless everyone who have contributed, your breakthrough is near.

WES states you need to send your certificate. Therefore, to get the certificate to WES faster and cheaper, scan a copy to your friend with your WES reference number ( to be written on the envelope) instead of sending it from Nigeria by post which will be more expensive. I used this option and my brother helped me send it to WES.

Alternatively you can use HelloFax. Type HelloFax in the search box to get results on how to use it.
