Good evening e-family. Thank you for everytime. After about 4 months on ECA, only my Hubby's was ready and the result had this The names on one or more of the academic credentials submitted for evaluation differ from the name indicated above. CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY Earned doctorate Note: The Bachelor of Science from the Obafemi Awolowo University indicates the date of birth as May 13, 19... Actually his birthday is May 31 and we never knew that error was made on his BSc. He also changed his surname legally at some point while his first name was changed to 'ii' instead of a single 'I'. I just want to know what implication this has. Unfortunately, we didn't send his change of name letters along during the verification. quote author=Iranoladun post=86728445] It took WES 6 months to complete my ECA (Aug ‘19 to Jan’20) BSc and Master. They only notified me after ECA completion via emails but I downloaded their ap and was checking my ECA status periodically[/quote] |

Hello all After almost 6 months post AOR, I just got to find out my visa office is AVO (Accra). The thing is, I haven't gotten any ADR since. So my question is does AVO sometimes issue PPRs without the 'famous five ADR'? Or should I still expect the usual request? Again my AOR date is 31 August 2019, and that's now nearly 6 months. Thanks |

Vivmezie:Hello. As long as you've indicated that you want your first degree evaluated, WES will put the evaluation on hold till all documents are completed. If you are in a hurry, send them a mail to remove your first degree. You can still pay for evaluation of your first degree later. It's just that evaluating it now will save cost. |

Hello house...great job you are doing here...I have been a silent reader for months now. We (Hubby still dragging his feet tho) have finally decided to start the journey. Please I need some clarification while filling the profile, 1) I got stuck on the NOC part “Date ******* first became qualified to practice in this occupation If the "primary occupation" is: a qualified trade (four-digit code begins with 632, 633, 72, 73, 82, 92), this is the date they became qualified to practice on their own in Canada. (For example, when they moved from apprentice to being a licensed tradesperson.) any other job, this is the date they first obtained the minimum education or training stated in the NOC description. (Note: if the NOC only states high school, this is the date they graduated.)” Please am I meant to put the date I completed my university education or the date I started the job/role? 2) in the education history part, please what do they mean by Complete/full academic years Please help house |

COPR2020: Good people pls could shed more light on this comment. What does the B2B draw mean and what impact does the FST draw coming up in June mean for the future CRS draw. Also I read IELTS exams will be cancelled in China for the next few months. Are we to expect a drop in CRS ? |

ladymarshall:Good day everyone , new to this platform . Am on the Canada process also , but I have a question ? As a lawyer when you want to send in your evaluation to WES, does your lawschool transcript stand as a professional program or masters and does it carry more weight than your university degree ? Or it’s best to evaluate both ? Thanks much .. |

Hi ladymarshall, I have drafted the LoE and sent to you. I was able to connect with a classmate that is now in Canada that used both WES and IQAS for his qualification. Thanks a lot. ladymarshall: |

Congratulations ma’am, I truly wish you the best. However, I will appreciate it if I can get a clarification on one’s NOC and proof of years of work experience. I have always thought that your work experience must be connected to your NOC, furthermore, you can’t choose more than 1 MOC and of which your years of work experience must have a direct relation to that NOC...but in your case I deduced 2 NOC( paralegal and store manager, if there’s anything like that..then 1year and 2 years work experience respectively. Please kindly enlighten me ma. |

Good morning house. I mistakenly requested for delivery from WES and this catapulted my fees to 305CAD instead of the normal 220CAD. I’ve mailed WES to remove the delivery and they said it’s part of the package and can’t be removed. Since I’ve not started any process at all, can I create another WES Account using a different email address for myself and hubby (cos it also affected him)? Will be waiting for response. Thank you |

egoakolam: Hi. Yes, had copy delivery of your ECA to you is part of the package. Please note that there are two modes of delivery; (1) courier delivery with tracking capabilities (eg DHL) at CAD 85, and (2) regular delivery with no tracking capabilities at CAD 10. So, write to them to change the delivery type to the CAD 10 delivery. That will bring your bill to CAD 230. All the best!!! 2 Likes |

No two applications are the same. Some could get ADRs and not others. You never know what to expect so you could be proactive prepare for it just in case. Goodluck with everything. amoskitto: |

as far as you have included the BSC for evaluation, until all have been done, you wouldnt receive ECA number. Even if the MSC process has been completed. Vivmezie: |

Good morning gurus in the house, I have been a silent reader for awhile now, I must say you are all doing wonderful jobs here. Please I'm confused as how to start this journey and who to use as a PA between me and wifey. 1. I have an OND mathematics/Statistics 2007, I have 6years experience as a cashier/Customer care officer. Contract Staffing. I also have a B.Ed Mathematics 2019. I have a 4years mathematics teaching experience Part time. If I am to be the PA, should I evaluate all my credential. ie., OND 2007& B.Ed 2019. Will I have more points in doing only OND or Both. I have my own farm that I'm currently managing as the CEO. Since 2015. 2. Wifey is a Nurse, have RN ie Nursing License, RM ie Midwifery licence. She has 10years experience in a Teaching Hospital. Is it better to use her as the PA, for her evaluation, will she secure more points by evaluating the two Certs. We are both 37 years of Age. Please help a brother. |

emeify1: Hi, My experience with the CBT was very smooth...the wide screen helps especially with the reading, you are also able to highlight certain key points in the passages as you read along. And for the typing you can delete sentences quicker than having to erase like I was doing during my paper based writing. I think these were some of the reasons I had a better result, especially with the reading and writing, amongst other things As long as you are conversant with using computers and your typing speed is above average then I recommend it for you. Plus there are CBT practice tests online that simulate the exact test environment, so you can see exactly what the test will look like...: Materials used were YouTube videos mainly, jay for writing, Liz for speaking topics, reading and listening were just YouTube videos, plus google ‘computer based test practice questions’ and you would get some really good materials in the exact CBT format. I hope this helps 18 Likes 2 Shares |

1. Yes. Use your University graduation date. If you don't fall under 633, 632 etc 2. The question is unclear. Can you do a screenshot or something so someone can answer you properly rainbowlady: |
