Well, i think any of the company can issue the letter, thing is the letter should state that you are a contract staff with them from X company, if you want Z to write.
If you want X to write, you don't need to explain that as you are their employee. Or, to sleep well, you can write that you are their employee outsourced to Z. Just find a way to get around it. But if I were in those shoes, it would be the company PAYING my salary and issued offer letter that will write my letter with the explanation.
I have seen a similar case on here but can't remember the moniker or how it was resolved. Good luck.

If you've submitted an application without doing medicals, IOM is insisting you come along with IME form from IRCC. No more upfront

I wrote in Abuja on the 23rd of May with IDP. Speaking was on the 21st. The written exam was initially for 21st but it was canceled and an option for choosing between 23rd or 30th May was given.

What if he signs, get his PR papers and leaves the country, can the siblings still claim the 15points considering the fact that he is 'technically' not living in Canada? Thank you

No they cannot claim points until he lands and they sign his COPR. And yes they can both claim at the same time

I know the highest degree is what is most important. The question is this: if she uses WES to evaluate only the PgD she obtained from NOUN, will the WES report read equivalent of Two or more Certificates? Or must she evaluate both first degree and the PgD in order for WES report to read equivalent of Two or more Certificates?

I'm new to this thread and the whole immigration stuff, but I'm desperately on my toes to migrate.

BACKGROUND:
Bsc Accounting, ACA, ACCA, MBA(in professional accounting) from London Business School using my ACCA pathway.

So I'm considering taking this CIMA route since I stumbled on this thread.

QUESTIONS:

1. What are my chances(points) claimable considering my current qualifications.(Note; I claimed exemptions on my ACCA using my ACA, so I wrote four(4) papers...Strategic professional level.

2. Is my MBA valid?? Since its through ACCA gateway.

3. Is there an MRA for conversion of ACCA to CPA?

4. I've seen comments on writing just ba1 to ba4 in CIMA, but from the course content, there are 16 papers..please I need clarification on this.

5. What's the cost like (rough estimate) to complete everything on CIMA (All things being equal)..

I don’t know if WES recognizes results from NOUN but if they do then yes, it’d count as two or more degrees if the person evaluates both.

Its only if u have masters or phD that u will evaluate the highest degree, in your friend's case, he/she will evaluated both BSc and PGD to get two or more degrees

Funny enough I used Attestation (To whom it may concern) which I was very skeptical about and it was accepted by Wes. So, Yes, Statement of results will definitely fly. NB:I sent it this past January.

To the best of my knowledge, how you qualified for your degree is not something IRCC is interested in. What they are interested in is that you have the qualification and any education credential assessment body like WES, IQAS etc can evaluate it as Canadian equivalent to same degree that is obtainable in Canada.

So all things been equal, your MBA should fly. And in this case, it is only your MBA you'll need to evaluate as it is your highest qualification. Cheers.

Well, we all know the "a friend of mine", "my friend" style of asking question.

Let me bring you up to speed, and to answer your question with my own as an example.

Within that period and now, I actually took the advise from the thread then, and enrolled at NOUN for my MSc, got the Certificate in March of 2019, did the WES evaluation between June and September of last year, and as at a month ago, my application had been approved.

The answer is YES - WES recognizes Certificate from NOUN and the question of whether to evaluate both degrees, YES - you have to, and note that this is not because it is from NOUN, rather it is because it is counted as a diploma (1 year). - To claim 2 or More certificate, you need to submit the two certificates and have BOTH Evaluated. - PgD is a Diploma, thus you'll need to add the other Certificate/BSc to compliment and make it eligibile for the 2/more certificate, which is higher in point than BSc alone.

Below is the Hierarchy (Lowest>>Highest) for clarity/reference;
- Secondary School Certificate - Little Point
- Post Secondary School Certificate/Diploma Certificate (one/2 year program) - Small Point
- First Degree/Bachelors - Average Point
- 2 or more degrees (ND+HND, Bachelors+Professional Cert./ICAN/ACCA/PgD/CIMA/BCS etc) - High Point
- Masters/Professional Course (LLB with IQAS, MBBS etc) - Higher Point
- PhD - Highest

I hope this helps you to understand that life isn't just a flat surface and hope you have seen reasons why many of us who are here chose this path.

I'd like to know if the evaluation was successful after all.
I sent mine and a friend's in March but to my surprise I got a mail that it they were not accepted as documents at expected to be sent electronically due to covid 19.

in case anyone has a successful evaluation after finding in March... kindly shed more light on how you did it.
