Neam9: It is always wise to keep your application SIMPLE. It is never part of IRCC requirement to state the mode of payment, so why state it. Just give them EXACTLY what they asked you. No jara 6 Likes |

Hello, Do you know if one can get WES Canada and WES US to exchange transcripts and certificates for evaluation purpose? An older friend got her credentials evaluated by WES US for academic purpose in 2017. She has initiated her request through WES Canada's contact us form, quoting her WES US reference number. Should we be doing anything else to further this? Is it best to just apply for transcripts from UNILAG jeje? Thank you. |

Please i need clarification on work history. So i had entered the pool with work history using NOC 4031 (2013-2017 making 3 years working experience) and my profile expired. So i started filling a new profile and i saw primary work experience. I forgot to mention that i started a job with NOC number 2263 mid 2017 till date where i did my masters in between this period. My question is can i use Noc 4031 as primary while i use Noc 2263 as the secondary work experience or vice versa and i wont be penalised during documentation ? NB: my course of studied pure chemistry at bsc and msc level. hoodboy: |

You normally should wait to see dir response as they will direct u appropriately. No, u dont need to send a new transcript, they can move the digital file from US to Canada easily. U will have to pay some money though for a new evaluation to Canadian equivalency. Someone that experienced same answered this question with more details recently, so u can search "converting/transferring WES USA to WES Canada" in the nairaland search box to see his/her response. Olanna95:similate your scores with the crs calculator. If you have 3 years experience you would be on 438. Bsc alone cant give you ita these days |

Plz for people who have written the French exam. Who knows which is easier between TCF and TEF. Thank you |

Nimi06: I'll advise you to use the 4031 as primary NOC (since you have 3 years) and the 2263 experience can fall under personal history since you don't need to claim points for it. Your course of study is not relevant in FSW. |

Hello house, Please I need a clarification on something. I am a graduate with a working experience of 5 years, while my wife is still a student but in her her finals. Presently she is at home because of what is presently happening i.e The lock-down that has prevented schools from re-opening, and it does not look like schools are opening anytime soon, and honestly speaking I dont think I can actually wait cos we dont know the exact time schools will re-open. She has her OND already, and she is suppose to be done with her HND by October but I dnt think that is possible due to the current situation of things. Now my questions are. 1. What can we do in a situation like this, cos I understand one has to evaluate 2 or more certificates. How can we get an additional certificate to add to her OND. 2. Who stands a better chance of being the primary applicant.. I am in my early 30s and she is in her not too late 20s. And any other advise you can give as regards our situation will be appreciated please.. Thank You |

Thank you so much. My friend opened a WES Canada account already. I just don't want her to be on a long thing, cos' if she eventually then needs UNILAG, time would have been wasted. MayorOfEdmonton: |

makano:read page one. for you to use 2 or more degree one of the degree must be a 3 years degree which in your wife's case is HND as OND is 2 years. she also needs to have work experience to be Primary applicant. so stimulate yourwith the CRS tool with you as primary applicant to decide the way forward |

She can evaluate just her ND, which is recognised as a 3year diploma degree but does she have the necessary work experience to be the principal applicant? Can she prove it? If otherwise, you should be the principal applicant cause of your years of experience. As it is, the only leverage she has is her age but work experience is necessary when applying for FSW. I suggest you use the CRS calculate to calculate the points for both your cases. makano: |

The minimum score will definitely drop and normalise to 470 or below, if there is a continual general draw, every two weeks. The chances it will even drop below 470 is slightly high, as the pandemic has affected people's application/documentation process, therefore reducing the number of applicants getting into the pool globally, let's just be hopeful that general continues. philaw: |

Vee2209: When you have majority of people in the CRS range of 465-475 and the last draw was 478 with no reduction in sight, what do you expect? |

It's true, you need to keep it simple. The problem however is, if your file land in Accra, they will ask for pay slips and bank statement showing salary deposit. What do you do then. Will it be at that time you write and say I was paid in cash?. So stating it is to prepare the VOs mind, just in case. Accra is not fun o COPR2020: 1 Like 1 Share |
