Ososo Carnival is a cultural event which is held annually to showcase the cultural heritage, traditions and tourism potentials of Ososo in Akoko-Edo local government area of Edo State. The 2019 edition of the Carnival which has as its theme, "AFEKHAFE' is a complete package of liesure events which includes street dance, arena based performances, beauty pageant [male & female], mountaineering, musical concert, bonfire, arts and fashion exhibition, visual creativity and sporting activities. These events are reminiscent of the rich culture, vast tourism potentials, hospitality and peace loving nature of the people of Ososo. Since the first edition of the cultural fiesta in 2011, Ososo community has continued to witness massive influx of visitors including indegenes in the diaspora as well as other parts of Nigeria during the yuletide season. The 2019 edition of Ososo Carnival will be a marvelous explosion of culture, colour, music and revelry. Ososo Carnival, the greatest harmattan festival will take place from December 27 -30, 2019.
