Ndibunna: Sounds more like the 1967 to 1970 Xmas party when over three million slaves were slaughtered by Yoruba/Hausa soldiers and used for pepper soup and suya while several millions beautiful female slaves were used as sex slaves. Or what do you think? 3 Likes |

wingmanIII: Never said Mohammed represents the North. In fact you make my point which is that even the most "rabid" of pro-Northern "Dogs" has said it must be SW if the North does not retain power. That is what I highlight. The fact that in the mind of every Northerner, whether for or against rotation, it must be North or SW. 1 Like |

waternogetenemy: Continue consoling yourself with absurd conspiracy theory and claims of reverse psychology mind games. The fact is that many Northerners agree power should go to the South. They don't trust Igbos pure and simple . SS had power directly before PMB and cannot immediately replace the North. Only the SW qualify. More so because of what the region represent to the ruling Party. 3 Likes |

candidtalk:That's your opinion. We have ruled Nigeria for 8 years since the return of democracy. By 2023, we would have produced both president and vice president for 8 years, same with hausa. What's sauce for the goods is sauce for the gander. Are the igbos not part of Nigeria? Why did you think they've always wanted to leave....? Its lack of unity and discrimination. Those were the things that fuelled the civil war...go read the book of history. Papa awolowo who went and clothed the fulanis, gave them a new lease of life and stood on governing a United Nigeria was betrayed by the same fulanis he was fighting for, at the 11th hour. Wait a minute, who told you hausa is even ready to relinquish power by 2023? They've ruled nigeria more than any tribe since independence without any meaningful impacts on our economy. In late 70s when obj came to power, he left a lot of money in govt coffers but when shagari came, he squandered everything which angered buhari as the then minister of petroleum who was quite aware of Nigeria's foreign reserve and took over power from shagari, made things worse instead of improving it. Same happened in 2007 when obj came back as civilian president, he made so much for yaradua govt, our debts were even cancelled. What do we have now? The reverse is the case. Presidency isn't coming to our region as you claimed. Maybe Nigeria would cease to exist after 2023 becaier our people would he robbed by the fulanis of presidency and we wont feel cool with that. The worst that might happen if we don't break up is a return of the military, backed by the northern generals whom buhari has already planted in those key positions. Mark my words. 3 Likes |

I don't even understand why many faction exist in Yoruba land, does this really make any sense ? that said I don't see any reason why northern leaders will be coming out publicly to say one of the major tribe in Nigeria (Igbo) cannot run for president. this is total madness I can't fathom what Igbo tend to achieve with their monarchical and isolated kind of politics. why did Ndigbo think their loyalty to one party will make them relevant in Nigeria politics. you people are a minority in APC, even the PDP you dominate you still feel inferior in the party, this is sickening Ndigbo needs to play their card well, you can't called APC Fulani party and see PDP that Fulani had hijacked from wike as the best party. in conclusion Igbo deserved 2023 presidency with all equity but they must play their card well, 3yrs is enough to do some political correction and if they're denied after their political redress, they should called for constitution redress for leadership rotation among the three major tribes or among southerners and northerners 1 Like |
