The quarrels on the forum is too high. I was on a thread some weeks back supporting a lady who said she wanted full traditional and white wedding before sex since that day ive not enjoyed my life. People who had different motives and views been pursuing all my dealings smearing me calling me fraud and all sorts. Many different issues. I need my peace of mind to focus on my life. Oh I lost all my transactions in just two weeks on so many sections na so different people start to dey label me fraud. I need my peace. The forum is too toxic for my peace of mind

Olden days marriage is no longer working in this time of ours.
I got married at 31 and I made sure I never dated any liability. Reason because my parents are not rich.

U have at least 4-5 years to fix ur financial house in order and not be under any pressure by anybody on when to marry.

U have to date a working class woman and explain in details ur plan for the future and I bet u,u will see how far u will go.
I dated my wife I told her my plans for the future and she supported me wholeheartedly.

My brother,u don't need any thing that will take away what u have laboured for all because she is a woman.
Plan,plan and plan for ur tomorrow.
Relationship is very sweet but marriage will open ur brain. Marriage is good when u are married to ur friend and not slay queen.
Marriage is demanding,so take ur time to rethink ur decision.

Come on, she told me because she needs an assistance from me, even when I told her to shelve it till January next year, she insisted it must be this November.

She ended the conversation saying that she is just contacting friends to see how they can help, that's how I knew she called me for help but didn't want to state it expressly.

I'm already exhausted from helping people. I have been helping a lot since this year and I just started work in July. I wish I can help her and even forget about dating her. Maybe I will just find 10k give her and go my way.

Guys, of late, my Dad has been talking to me to get a wife, he's so serious with it that anytime we speak on the phone he reminds me of it.

I'm the first guy and just 27.

I met this lady here on Nairaland, she's nice, I went straight to the point. For now, we are friends. She isn't working and I'm not earning high.

We haven't started dating though. This night, she kinda told me she wants to start a biz, didn't know what to say so I promised to help her with 50k that I don't have o. I told her that I may talk to my Dad for the balance since he is the one that sent on me on this journey.

We planned to meet this weekend but I'm no longer interested, I just want to run away right now.

She didn't pressure me for the money o, but telling me of her plans was an indirect way of asking.

Should I carry everything to my Dad or let her go even without giving it a shot.

Though, I'm about to get a new job almost X2 of the former job, her unemployment status worries me, but something tells me she would make a good wife.

Something always tells us she'll make a good wife until she isn't, riding solo is best for a working class guy, even well off individuals are jettisoning marriage.

Ask your dad for the money, if he doesn't give you, steal it...or go and take loan somewhere and give her. Make it 100k sef....because 50k won't start a meaningful business.
