Briefly...
Personally, as humumans, our greatest fear is death and leaving behind all those which we've come to love. To compensate, we came up with the idea of religion, a God and an afterlife.
It was founded on various values that i find no fault with. Such as honesty, patience, faith and most importantly, love. For both God and our fellow man. So while religion is a lie, its doctrines are based on standard principles that are quite commendable.
But over the years, after its peak, christianity has slowly descended down the ladder to become the mess it is today.
Building a church many would advise, is a lucrative business. The so called men of God engage in series of shameful acts, ranging from fraud to rape. Performing fake miracles to leaked sex videos.
The beauty in people coming together to worship, has now been marred with sin.
Religion is a scam that robs people of logical reasoning. It takes away common sense leaving the ignorant victims. But it had a meaning and aim it has now lost.

Religion and other mumbo-jumbos are ridiculous garbages and falsehoods with no basis in reality. In most cases, religion has always been a tool of control and an avenue to fleece it's flock. In the past, and sometimes now, it was used as a justification for people's greed, ego, and wickedness.
