An institution where the cleaners are been held 7 months salary with the hostel been a place that even rats and cockroaches dread staying and yet it's been brought to the school administrations notice for several occasions and yet they pay deaf ears.
Please we the students of UNN are pleading with the leaders and those who oversee the education sector to look into this before it gets out of hand and an epidemic breaks out cos the SUG is just a name that once existed. Who is the cleaners supervisor or in charge of the hostels?
People take a job as cleaners but dont want to clean shit. It is unacceptable and if they have to clean the mess they start cursing. But to collect the salary and spend it they will be happy. If they sack them they will cry. If they no pay them they will complain

The out-gone VC had enough resources to take the SUG to the US but can't take care of the facilities in school. Sending your child to that place is obviousl punishment. Akintola Akpabio hostel has turned into a waste deport. Same with Oba Akenzue Ref. Not to talk of other female hostels, especiallt Mary Slessor. Same condition with lecturers quarters.What is really wrong with management there?

Oga, u southern students are naturally pigs. How come student hostels in schools in the north and private universities are always clean? I just pity the kind cleaner wey dey come clean for una because na waste of time. You cant change a pig, rather a pig will change you.
