I think the real twin evil the black world is facing is the Franco-British economic exploitation and the Arab cultural imperialism. They created the Africa's artifical borders at the Berlin conference of 1884 where the destiny of African was sealed. The French and the British specifically set African tribes up by lumping different tribes together and imposed the most trusted and loyal tribe to be used for internal colonization and exploitation, especially after the second world war. The second world war brought the collapse of colonialism but the British never want to let go so they put up a post-'independent' structure that will forever allow them complete control of their colonies, even after the so-called independent.

In Nigeria's case, they actually see the Fulanis as very loyal and dependable tool to be used for this evil 'project'. The Fulanis actually made the colonialists'indirect rule successful in the northern part of nigeria and hence 'tested and trusted' by the Brits to be used in the post-independent Nigeria. Since the Fulanis have no any economic resources to depend on for survival in modern economy, they are a perfect tool to be used to preserve a post-independent Nigeria, afterall the North has nothing to lose if grannted political leadership while the Brits, using their Fulani puppets, controls the natural resources and the large part of the proceeds taken back to London while the rest are used to maintain the already improverished Nigerians.

This is the exact situation Nigerian find itself through this evil force called Britain. Unless something drastic is done, the situtation will remain so in the next 1000 years.
