A guy that is passing through financial challenges meets a lady and they are interested in each other, if he tells her the truth about his condition, he automatically becomes a "gold digger." The lady takes offence and some go to the length of making posts to insult the guy.

If he decides to package himself and act like nothing is wrong (while hustling to get out of his predicament), and she makes financial request(s) that he is not able to meet up, she tags him "stingy" calls off the relationship and starts making posts about him. (Not all ladies though.)

If she eventually finds out that the guy is having financial challenges, she will tag him a "deceiver" for not telling him from the beginning that he is not doing well.

Ladies and gentlemen, which way then for a guy that finds himself in such situation, and meets a lady that is interested in him, or he is interested in?

a man who is in financial distress SHOULDNT remotely think of dating, and should instead look for ways to get out of his predicament. (aka focus on sorting his life out FIRST )... the above would be like a one legged guy trying to win a 100m race.

if you cant take care of your own personal needs, then you have no business thinking of spending money to go out trying to impress anybody.
