South Africa does not need nigeria. The only thing we get from you is oil,, which we can get from Angola

We developed your telecommunications, PayTv, electricity, oil refinery sector. SOUTH AFRICAN companies employ millions of nigeriana.

Nigeria is underdeveloped, thats why they flock to south africa in their hundreds of thousanda
That is what i keep telling this guys...who ever lie to them that Nigeria is a rich country?.... ( A notorious population of 200 million with a claimed GDP of 390 billion dollar
making less than 55 billion dollar revenue) By all metrics, it will be a poor country by norminal standard and will automatically owns the largest poor citizens per head in the world . The revenue to GDP is just dammed small. How can such a goverment financed a sustainable development without borrowing heavily or rely on external donor for self relief....

Don't mind them, the purchasing power of Ghana us just $200 billion and that of Nigeria is $1.2 trillion, $1 trillion more than that of Ghana and that's why their ministers have been begging all the while.

You should realize that a larger population makes it harder for a country to develop, especially if it's corrupt.

Human development index is better than having a larger GDP

No one is taking about the size of GDP here but the size of cash averagely available to individual of each citizens and what an average individual can buy
Assuming every Ghanaian earns $500 per month and every Nigerian earns $450 per month in a population of 28million to 201million, tell us which collective purchasing power is greater here.
If every Nigerian and Ghanaian is to buy a pair of flip flop and a company is to supply it but to supply just one country, pray tell which country any company chosen to supply would choose first.

You guys don't know Ghanaian leaders... Watch how they will maneuver through the situation and see how in the end it will benefit Ghana.

Even if Gambia decides to for instance boycott our products, trust Ghanaian leaders to go and negotiate some kind of a deal with them. So its not new to us. Anything that will be in our interest internationally trust me they will do it.
Tell your ministers to continue the negotiations, the borders remain shut for now

Please shut it. What pride or arrogance? But for myopic leadership, Nigerians are not your mates. Can you or any other group of Africans do what is revealed below? Ghana, for the West, is the perfect African nation because it is full of docile, gullible and easily manipulated Africans who worship white skin - the sort 'obroni' (white man) has always preferred since the days of slave trade.

Of course Ghana is a Nation white folks would praise because it if full of their own 'sort' of black people/Africans. Match that with Nigeria's own self-created problems (inadequate power supply, insecurity, poor transport infrastructure et al) and it soon becomes clears issue are about Nigeria squandering her vast natural endowment (human and material) and not Ghana possessing any special talent to attract Toyota, Google et al ahead of Nigeria.

We can deal with our own problems but you will not be able to neutralise how Nigeria are much more naturally talented than you to the extent that you will be nowhere near us once we begin to get political leadership right. For example, a Nigeria with 24/7 electricity will obliterate literally all of Africa and even some developed nations in growth and development because we already have one of the biggest markets in the world and some of the most hardworking and innovative folks on earth who would grow and sustain a vibrant SME sector if cost of setting up and operating business is reasonable. Ghana is doing nothing special. It is Nigeria effing up. otherwise we would not be having this discussion.

Black Girl Magic: 43 Nigerian Graduates Break Records at Howard University

Howard graduates had a lot to be proud of at their graduation ceremony. However, the emphasis was not on the 96 graduating medical students, all focus was on an exemplary list of 46 Nigerian graduates. Out of the 96 candidates, 46 were Nigerian and out of the 27 awards given, 16 awards were given to Nigerian graduates. This is such a proud and empowering moment for these students. Never before at Howard University or any University in the United States has this happened. These Nigerian student completely dominated the ceremony and made history.

President Obama, the commencement speaker, talked about race and encouraged all the graduates to proud of their blackness and to always love and embrace who they are. It is important for us as people of color to continue to break through the glass ceiling. President Obama’s experience in office showed that racism is real and prevalent but we can still achieve greatness as long we believe in ourselves and never give up.

I have flawed this your baseless analogy earlier before...... investing in an economy are based on many factors ( long time planing or short time planning) for a key...

In the short run of a buisness, Nigeria has the market edge therefore the investors will equip its money but on a long time of a deal , Ghana fares better in long-term pillars such as business ease, social development, and most especially in good governance cus this are what makes buisness last longer ( reasons Toyota is jumping a bigger market like Nigeria to establish in Ghana. it is about long time planning and effect .

Nigeria only make sense if you want to recover your capital quick but to enjoy your investment for the future, then Ghana edge highly. some investors are even wise, they start in Nigeria, makes their money and relocate to Ghana for a better enviroment

Simplistic analysis based on nothing but a partisan take on issues. Economics and commerce 101, for the educated, means Nigeria is by far the best home of investment for FDI (foreign direct investment) if she does not have serious challenges profit-seeking businesses are put off by. First is Power supply. Then issues like security and transport will influence thinking too. These are the sort of issues obliterating Nigeria's vast advantages over others.

With her huge market, population and skilled human resources you guys can never match Nigeria if she was operating optimally. We would be to Africa what the USA is to North America. You think many of the companies shunning Nigeria don't do it with heavy hearts?

They know Nigeria is the much better and , by far, more profitable destination for ROI (return on investment) if the nation was not bedevilled with problems effective leadership can resolve. Naturally, business are driven by the concept of making profit so they therefore take decisions of the head and not the heart. This is where Ghana profits. Nigeria's problems are surmountable and a lot more can be achieved , growth-wise, if we sort ourselves out whereas Ghana has limitations that means you are already operating at near optimal and it cannot get much better for you.

Musical talent too is common ba when Nigerians rule the roost by far for male and female talent originating from Africa? Envy of Nigerians will not kill you bad belle Ghanaians. 26-Year-Old Nigerian Silas Adekunle Is World’s Highest Paid Robotics Engineer

Meet 26-year-old Nigeria entrepreneur Silas Adekunle, who is currently the highest paid robotics engineer in the world!

After graduating from the University of the West of England, he founded Reach Robotics in 2013, a company which aims to infuse gaming and augmented reality to perform functions.

He gained experience on robotics within a space of 4 years and also became a team leader of Robotics In Schoolsprogramme, a programme which encourages and pays attention to students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). It was during his involvement in the programme that he thought of developing robotics to make education more entertaining for STEM students.

In 2017, Mekamon, the world’s first gaming robot was born. A part of its unique feature is the ability to customize the gaming bot to perform personalized functions. His initial launch of Mekamon sold 500 bots, generating $7.5 million.

According to the report, Adekunle has received support from organizations including London Venture Partners. Reach Robotics has also signed a deal with Apple securing exclusive sales in its stores. He was also listed in the 2018 Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe: Technology.

Adekunle, described as the smartest robotics engineer in the world, says the secrets to his success are: balance, sharing ideas, time management and being true to yourself.

work on your challenges , You don't need to have a knolwedge in advance economics to know Nigeria edge Ghana in market index ( The population of course speak for itself) market potential for business in Nigeria slightly edges out Ghana’s market but where Ghana does not have in market size, Ghana makes up for in long-term indicators. Better governance, higher social development, and business ease are segments in which Ghana significantly outperforms Nigeria. This is my drift , Nigeria is yet to get there.. ..

When you also look at ithe infrastructure that enables businesses to produce goods and the ease of moving these goods . A weighted average of the IIAG’s Infrastructure score and World Bank’s Logistics Performace Index gives Ghana a edge ahead Nigeria

Ghana gets the slight edge over Nigeria when graded over the entire infrastructural development....

Only mumu like you will seek to bring age discrimination against someone who has conquered the robotic world at 26. Are you listening to yourself to know how dumb you sound? Where was he at the age of those girls to now be dominant over Professors and industry giants who are 60 years old and above with 3 decades and more of experience in robotics?
