Not really. The principal causes of accidents on Otedola bridge are two:

1. The bridge itself is a valley with relatively steep slopes. This causes problems for tankers loaded with petroleum products many of which have bad brakes, thereby causing them to lose control often.

2. The surface of the road on the bridge inwards berger has been warped/distorted due to heat from previous fire incidences. This gives the feeling of the road wanting to wrest control from drivers when driving on this portion of the road. An inexperienced driver at high speed may veer off that bridge due to this.

number of road users increase during this time, drivers and vehicles are overworked, hustle gets harder because people wanna make money for festivity. Hence increase in road hazards during these period

Otedola bridge is a downward slope made motorable by the overhead bridge. A lot of drivers underestimate how deep a slope they are driving through.
Neck braking speed is sucidal on that bridge.
You lose your radio FM signal when you drive through that spot. That should tell anyone reasonable enough that the length of that bridge is topologically abnormal.
A google map search on that spot will reveal how deep in terms of elevation the length of the bridge is.
