Go through my old monikers I no longer use, Yeske! and yyeske to realize I'm a proud Igbo man and always in defense of my Anambra and Igbos in general. Reason I sometimes fall out with Igbos now is because most of us warned about this scenario but we were insulted.

Honestly I would never forgive Jonathan. My company had bid for the surveillance of all pipeline prior to 2015 general election. Our counterparts in US had made all necessary preparation. I was part of team that suppose to travel to US for training. Unfortunately Jonathan just cancelled our bidding at eve of 2014 general election and awarded the pipeline monitoring to Tompolo and Gani Adams.

Igbos like Igbokwe and Okorocha exist who get on well with other Nigerians and , as a testimony to their unique honesty, admit their own people have serious problems. Even if most Igbos turn around to calls those folks "Efulefu" I actually rate them highly and view them as well-calibrated individual who live the reality of life and have not allowed themselves to be prisoners of fake ideals others try to force on them.

Truth is that Yorubas are not radical. We have not given Nigeria Boko Haram, Maitatsine, IPOB, MASSOB, Tompolo, Boyloaf, or other organised warlord groups/clans. A lot of Igbos who have grown up amongst Yorubas know we mean them no harm and never try to obstruct or impede their progress. The Igbo man has no better ally than the Yoruba man if we view issues from reality on the ground. You will therefore always have Igbos who know their people are wrong making Yorubas the enemy. You tell me right now which politician, whether SS or Hausa/Fulani, has done more for Igbos than Tinubu. Yet Jagaban is most hated by Igbos whereas GEJ, IBB, Danjuma, Atiku et al get a free pass from many of our SE brothers.

Abeg free sensible Igbos when you encounter them. They may be the key to a future of unity and progress in the South majority of Igbos currently frustrate because of their mindless hatred of Yorubas.
