Where are the Igbo guys complaining that this team is APC team and can't win anything, u see ur life now! The super eagles team is dominated by Igbos no one is complaining, but because this one is not dominated by Igbos, it is quota system and APC things, make u na dey use ur sense now, the brain una have is not for decoration o. This victim mentality will destroy most of u, if u don't change.

Well-done boys.
I'm Igbo and I say ignore those idiots, when those boys do well we all(the sane ones at least) celebrate them together.

Lol..you fall yourself.
No i did not...unless you started watching the match from the 80th minute when we started scoring!
despite our win against a very weak opposition,we did not play very well!
A very well organised team would have nicked a win out of us!
If we keep playing like this,we may not go anywhere or very far!

The whole squad did exceptionally well actually, so much energy.

I mentioned someone earlier that we would win, they just needed a lil more time. The next game will be better for sure.
Not good enough today!
We are very fortunate that the Hungary team were not good enough defensively!
If we are to go as far as the semi-finals,we must play better than this!
The only player that tried for the eaglets is the captain...he never stopped running!

Amen brother, tribalism no dey put money for my account... the best folks that have impacted my life in one form or another have been Yorubas... the events of the past few days that have unfolded, have surely taught me to love and embrace everybody regardless of tribe, religion etc.... you never know what tomorrow might bring.

Oga, do you realize this is the U17 WC? Which well organized team? You call the Hungarian side weak? You obviously didn't listen to the commentaries.

"We may not go anywhere" meaning? Do u even follow the U17s at all?

God bless you bro. I hope we can live above tribalism in this country. It will do us a whole lots of good.

Driving home this evening with my friends, saw 3 ladies and 2 kids in their broken down car in a very volatile area, we pulled over, not knowing that another man had also pulled over to help them, the occupants of car were igbos, we the Good Samaritans were Yorubas, the other man called his ‘rewire’ To come help them fix the car after we couldn’t fix it, we were there up to an hour just to see that they leave that place ASAP...when the women found out that we were all Yorubas, she just started praying for Us/Nigeria....moral of the story....we are first human before we are of any tribe
