richie240: Politics is a game of alliance. U gimme your support for my candidate to win, if he wins u have have my allegiance for your own candidate.. This is what played out between the south west and north in Buharis presidency. Igbo's coming out of nowhere and wanting to think they can break the alliance might back fire and we would loose out big time. 7 Likes 1 Share |

This issue of Igbo presidency, in my opinion, would be very difficult in 2023. The most important thing to do now is to find a way to unite with the rest of the region. The whole igbos cannot vote in a president. It comes with the unity of the whole region to get to vote in a person. And also, with the form of governance we are practicing am not sure anybody vote in as president could produce a substantive results. What we need now is restructuring of the nation, the constitution, and the arms of government. Changing the government from a unitary government to a Federal system government. The regional state really needs to develop itself, the federal government is shortcoming on its roles. I support One Nigeria. WaZoBia. 5 Likes |

omenka: can't believe I'm agreeing with you for the first time. Igbo deserved 2023 presidency ticket giving Igbo presidency ticket is different from electing Igbo man as president, so this mushroom group should be precise in their course. Nigeria position is an elective post, is not an inheritance PDP should just give the ticket to Igbo, and APC give theirs to Yoruba. let southerners contest for this, for the very first time I endorsed Igbo presidential ticket for one of the major party in 2023 2 Likes |

This is almost impossible at least for now. If actually they wanted such top office all along, they would have been doing something right. Hatred upon hatred.(they wouldn't just listen) Their hate speeches against other regions may have been documented for future use already. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

Keep your pessimism to yourself. Did you ever think it was possible for Buhari to be president as at 2011? Nothing is impossible. Even people saying that its impossible for Tinubu to be president of Nigeria, I laugh at them because you can't sit on your own self inflicted and restricted dream to restrict another persons aspirations. Ategberoson: The two parties will be nomitating an Igbo just like the two parties nominated Yoruba in 1999. There will be no Igbo vs yoruba candidature. If APC zones to the SW, PDP knows what to do. No one will eat his cake and have it. SW have taken their share, and the whole country knows that. 1 Like |

If ibo wanted presidency truly, they would have been preparing since 2018 ,they really have not shown internal security. A look at the senate President election and his vice, speaker seat and his deputy will show you alot about what the division is like 3 Likes 1 Share |

LabDNA: so which of the Igbo we run under APC party. you people don't understand politics. APC was formed majorly by Yoruba and Hausa, you don't expect APC to now disappoint southwest by handling the ticket to those that don't dominate and invest heavily in the party. Ameachi alone invest more than all south east politicians in APC politics is investment and they trade politics among the shareholders. but lemme agree with you that APC will give it to southeast so that you people will be happy in that ignorance 8 Likes 1 Share |
