There are reports that the factional meeting called by Oshiomhole’s led Edo People’s Movement has turned bloody in Owan East Local Government Area of Edo State. Unconfirmed eyewitness told reporters that some community leaders who had earlier objected to the gathering of the group in the area engaged the leaders in fisticuffs which resulted to a free for all fight in which weapons were freely used. Several vehicles that were parked within the vicinity of the meeting area were damaged, while some EPM loyalists sustained various degree of injuries. A former Civil Commissioner in Edo State, during the administration of Mr. Adams Oshiomhole, Mr. Abdul Oroh was alleged to have hosted the meeting.
