What relationships do you think are most common with the various tribes when Nigerian men date outside their ethnic groups? Percentage wise.

I'd say (I could be wrong however):

Yoruba men and the most common groupings

Yoruba men/Igbo women

Yoruba men/midwestern women. Midwestern means Edo Delta (Bendel). For those who were wondering, Edo Delta used to be the highest number, but now it's Igbo although the margin is very small.

Yoruba men/all other tribes

Igbo tribe:

When Igbo men date inter tribally, I'd say they are more likely to be with these areas (once again, I could be wrong)

Igbo men/south south women, specifically Calabar followed closely by the Port Harcourt area

Igbo men/all other women

Ijaw men

Yoruba women perhaps due to the proximity

Not too familiar with other dating patterns

Edo/Benin/Isoko men

Yoruba women.

I'm not sure why one so rarely sees Edo man/Igbo women marriages. Either they keep very low profiles or it just doesnt happen.

Yoruba men I'd say are most likely to date and marry intertribaly than any other tribe.

Like I said, not too sure.

They are generally open daters meaning they tend to not discriminate when dating.

Just my opinion, could be wrong.

Besides, trends do change.

At the risk of appearing to be focusing on frivolities while more serious issues are ongoing in Nigeria.
