Of what benefit is rotten fish to the owners now?

That’s not even the problem. The container can be inside port for days before customs release it and by that time it’s too late. Inside port there is no one to give the food. And even if you were a business person and you’ve used millions to import a product it’s how you’ll sell it that is the main issue not looking for how to dash it out

some times na the clearing agent fault, make Dem send shipping docs so them go clear the container, Dem go dey delay.

Before you know it container don enter demurrage, that one na extra cost, before you know custom don seize container. na to wait for auction if you get inside man.

Importation no easy mbok, once your goods don enter warehouse, just go on your knees and thank God for journey mercies coz you can lose half of your life worth in one bad deal.

Okay, thanks. I wish I could eat honey but since I was child I never liked it. What do you recommend I use to eat it?

Good afternoon

As a student...it helps me alot.

I use it when I prepare pap,tea Or whenever I soak garri

It can be used implace of butter whenever one wants to eat only bread.

Honey has various vital uses which one can't pen down in only 24lines.

You can check out the recent post I made about Honey on my profile.

You don gada money import finish, why not do all you can to get it cleared.

Iyam not understanding undecided

Bro nothing follows due process in Nigeria, ordinarily an importer should be able to calculate the duties but things re sometimes not what they should be in Nigeria as custom officers re the lords of the ring

If you know what business is you'd not be making this statement. It's like you've not gone to market with 300k and come back with 10k but you cannot see what you've sold.

This is one of reason the frozen foods importers uses Benin port. Where the National electricity company that supposes to have steady light till the containers is cleared wouldn’t disappoint.

When the electricity supplier disappoint to supply light to the cool room when the ship land at her final destination then the foods in the cool rooms start damaging, if the importers had used Benin port they will not encounter this lost or allegation of importing rotten fish as LASMA has concluded.

Why is it that when the importers are using Benin port before boarder closure that they never imports rotten fish? Why is it that is only when the fish lands at Nigeria is got rotten, Is LASMA and other agent enforcing Nigerians to believed that a whites exports the rotten fish to Africa? Or are they trying to make ours to believe that the whites don’t know that the cool room will reach its destination without any fault?

They just mention cool room fault to excuse the importers out of problem, but the truth here is that the fish containers got rotten here in Nigeria because of power failure to the cool room.

I think time have come for all agent to start telling them self truth than excuse because we as government want importers to use our ports and therefore should provide the same amenities as our neighboring country than playing big boy without nothing

I think the shipping company is to blame for the faulty refrigerator. They know they were transporting frozen and edible goods but didn't have working refrigerators. The importer should sue for damages.
Might also be the fault of the terminal who perhaps didn't plug it well.

Wont be surprised if some people remix that fish and sell it off to 'the ones who eat anything'
