One of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's closest confidants revealed that ISIS terrorists buried $25 million in the Iraqi desert which was later discovered by shepherds.
Mohammed Ali Sajet, who is related to Baghdadi via marriage and has been an ISIS member since 2015, was arrested by Iraqi officials two months ago near Baghdad.
He is said to have told Iraqi authorities about Baghdadi's possible location in Syriaand also gave up details about a courier that was working for the ISIS leader.
In an interview with Saudi-owned Al Arabiya on Sunday, Sajet - who is in detention in Iraq - said that ISIS leaders, including himself, would bury dollars, gold, and silver in the desert.
He claimed that $25 million was lost in al-Anbar desert and was later discovered by shepherds.
