Owing to the the recent attacks from West African countries because of our border closure and the retaliatory steps being taken against Nigeria, it's obvious these countries do not appreciate the big brother role we have been playing or the enourmous sacrifice we have made as a nation. Our borders have been closed for security and economic reasons, I believe they will be reopened immediately our neighboring countries comply with the conditions that secures our borders and guarantees fair trading across our borders. The first rule of existence is self preservation and the golden rule of foreign policy is national interest. In our own interest should Nigeria exit ECOWAS or remain? What's your opinion? |

Do you really know what you wrote? That Nigeria should exit ECOWAS? OK (1) if Nigeria exit that means our Nigerian goods that are of high demand in west Africa such as electric wire, water tanks, cement, iron rod, glass, electrical gargets, eggs, shoes etc will not enjoy the ETLS benefit so it will be declared as imports and high duty paid. (2) that means if a Nigerian wants to travel to Senegal or Benin he will apply for Visa (3) those Nigerians in these ECOWAS will be illegal migrants and if deported do you have a job for them? Instead of you to challenge the government to provide good roads and electricity so that we can be like the rest of west Africa. My dear Nigerian road is the worst among all the west Africa road even light too yet we claim African power |
